With As each year passes we become even more determined to help poor communities to thrive. Thrive through faith in God. Thrive through applying biblical principles to life.
Our team has made twenty eight trips to Honduras. Helping individuals with basic needs and working with local churches of Christ to assist families on an ongoing basis. Ongoing programs focus on education, nutrition, housing, and spiritual training.
Our educational assistance program has helped hundreds of students over the years. Allowed them to attend school. Many went onto higher training, education. Some became nurses, some engineers, and many others started their career in other key employment sectors.
Honduras is beautiful. Great people with a desire to build better communities.
Poverty is holding back a great people from reaching their full potential. Through God we are doing our part to help as many people as possible to achieve better spiritual and economic circumstances.
Adopt a Family Fund Inc is a non-profit by a small group of Disciples of Jesus Christ. There are no salaries, no waste, and the aim is to use each donated dollar to help individuals struggling in poverty.

Where does your funding come from?
All funding is from private donations.
How much is spent on overhead and salaries?
Less than one percent of donated funds are used for overhead expenses. Nothing on salaries.
Who do you help?
We assist individuals struggling in extreme poverty. Most individuals make less than $100 US per month. Our focus is on helping individuals in Honduras.
Do you make trips to ensure that donations are being used properly?
Yes. We have monthly accountability sessions to review budgets, expenses, and receipts. There are also annual trips to Honduras to meeting with church leaders, volunteers, and program participants. Each dollar is accounted for.
